Firstly, as a simplification, in TM-yoga emphasis is 90% on meditation (dhyan) and 10% on physical exercises (asanas/yogic asanas).
Secondly, this emphasis is implemented from day one, instead of after many years of yogic exercises.
Thirdly, the emphasis is on new student, to actually experience some real benefit. The experience or benefit is difficult to explain because it has to be felt, experienced and confirmed by the student only. This is important so that he/she feels intense desire with meditation daily or as and when required.
Fourthly, it takes 20 - 25 minutes per day.
